When I was a little girl,
My family started attending a church
Where they spoke in tongues
And women would dance in the isles
So filled with the Holy Spirit, they were..
I remember feeling inspired
I wanted to dance with God, too
But I didn’t think that I knew how
And then it felt inaccessible..
So I just sat there
Source, however, is always accessible
And I found union with The Divine
Through song, praise and worship
And through casual prayer
And that satisfied my Soul
For a while
Fast forward
Here and now
Through Awakening and Rewilding
Practicing and trusting
Exploration and observation
Creator Almighty has landed
In my body, this Sacred Vessel
With all the Grace & Holy Fire
Of Kali Ma & Magdalene
And I dance my prayers
My Love, my grief, my joy..
I amplify the expression of Shakti
Through the grounding force of Shiva
And become One
My temple is my Vessel
My temple is my church
Peace & Life, Love & Abundance to you all
May all beings be free
